I am aware that I live in a very rural area in the middle of nowhere, but I can’t help but wonder what happened to my internet provider. I am pretty certain that they are using their own cell signal, but I am not sure about that. I have been checking with my office, and it is not listed as a cell signal. The last time I checked, they had never been listed under cell signal.
It seems like everyone seems to be using their own cell signal nowadays. Even the cell towers in my area are all cell towers that are not even connected to each other. At the same time, my internet provider isn’t listed. I don’t know what that means, but it would probably be a good idea for them to change that.
Well, that’s what I’ve been hearing too. We’re definitely in the early stages of a global wireless network. But there’s no guarantee that everyone is using it. Many phones are listed as mobile broadband, but that is only for wireless internet access, not wireless phone service. And while I think it’s probably a good idea for someone to be buying a cell phone, I don’t know how you would know where to get a phone without actually being able to get one.
And even more, just because its a cellphone doesnt mean that all cell phones are the same. Some are more rugged than others, and even for some, the batteries and antennae can make them more expensive to replace.
I think it might be a good idea to have more information on what is a good cell phone, but I dont know how to check for things like “ruggedness” or “antenna compatibility.” I would think that you would have to know about the phone before you buy it.
My own phone is a Motorola Droid. I love it. It is a great phone for everything, with a lot of features and a great battery life. However, I’ve had to replace the battery several times because my phone keeps losing charge. This is because the phone is so heavy, and the charger is so bulky, but I still can’t justify the cost of replacing the battery.
In the meantime, if the phone is cheap, the charger might be too. In the future, I will be looking for a charger that is compact (and not too heavy), has a long life, and a good price.
I think I have a new charger for my phone, only I can’t remember what brand it is. The one I’ve got is a Sony, so it doesn’t have a huge battery. I might look for a charger that has a small battery (5 to 10 mAh) and a long life (30 to 90 days).
