The internet in shreveport is pretty good, but it is also fast and efficient. It is the only provider in my area of town that has a 4g connection, and even then it is pretty basic. I have a DSL connection, which is pretty decent, but I would prefer to get a faster/higher-bandwidth connection, so I end up using a cable connection for a lot of my internet.
One thing that shreveport has going for it is the city itself. People here are pretty friendly, and its a great place to live, and the internet is fast and reliable. Its also a great place to be if you are a musician. A lot of the time when I am in LA I use my DSL connection to stream music to my laptop, and it works fine.

As it turns out, you are not supposed to be able to use your DSL connection to stream music to your laptop. Most of the time, the service provider will not give you a connection, so you are stuck using your phone to stream the music. I don’t know why they make it that hard, but it makes it more inconvenient and makes it more likely that they could screw you.

I don’t know either, but I’ve noticed that when I try to stream music to my laptop, the service provider thinks I’m trying to stream music to my laptop. I’m not sure what service provider to blame, but it sucks.
This is one of the reasons why I like using my phone for music. I have the ability to stream the music, but when I try to play it on my computer, the connection drops and I have to re-connect. I have an Android phone, but I have yet to try to stream music from it.
That sucks. Maybe this is the reason people use broadband internet to stream music and movies, but that’s a little crazy.
Oh well. If this is the case, this doesn’t seem to be much of a problem. The people who work at the internet provider have very little idea how things work, so they assume you are just trying to stream music to your laptop. It’s also worth noting that you can’t use the internet at all if you don’t have an active internet provider contract.
